We are Working Toward our ESSA Rating. Come Join Us as a Research Partner!

“In December 2015, the U.S. Congress passed the national education law, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). It replaced No Child Left Behind (NCLB). ESSA covers a lot of the same territory as NCLB, with one key exception: It defines what it means for an educational program to have “strong,” “moderate,” or “promising” evidence of effectiveness.”

We are looking for schools and school districts willing to partner with us on the journey to our ESSA rating. This involves the sharing of anonymized student data and framing up a proper research study with a predetermined treatment and control group. The study is then submitted to Johns Hopkins University for review and determination of the ESSA level. The minimum size study requires at least 30 students and two teachers using the product for at least 12 weeks. We welcome research opportunities of any size up to and including entire school districts.
